A Work in Progress
A nonprofit creating immediate access to autism services when timing matters most.

Our story
Founded by Kris Hamburger, A Work in Progress was built to solve a specific problem: families waiting months for approvals while their child loses critical developmental time.

Our model
We front the cost of services so therapy can begin immediately. As state reimbursement begins, those funds cycle back into the nonprofit to support additional families.

Our commitment
This is not a temporary project. It is a long-term mission to bring clarity, immediate action, and hope to families navigating a system that too often delays care.

Optional quote:
“I do not think I was put here just to take care of one child. This feels like a lifelong commitment.”
